TDM reporting algorithms
*

Delphic has collaborated with Professor David Back (University of Liverpool) and Dr Saye Khoo (Royal Liverpool University Hospital) to create a database of reporting algorithms for HIV drugs. The algorithms are developed, reviewed and updated by an international panel of experts in pharmacology and HIV therapy. Each therapeutic drug monitoring report supplements the concentration level(s) with comments designed to assist the treating physician in interpreting the result.

Information on drug-drug interactions, and on the work of Professor Back and Dr Khoo, can be found on the Liverpool HIV Pharmacology Group web-site at www.hiv-druginteractions.org

TDM Matrix of Evidence
*

Delphic is developing a web-based 'matrix of evidence' for the clinical utility of therapeutic drug monitoring for HIV antiretroviral drugs. You will be able to select any combination of drug and patient category to enable you to review a top-line summary of the evidence with supporting abstracts.

The site will be available during October 2008.

Inhibitory Quotient (IQ)
*

Delphic is working with an international panel of HIV experts to develop Inhibitory Quotients (IQs) for routine clinical use. An IQ characterises the relationship between drug exposure (pharmacology) and drug susceptibility (virology). A clinician is able to offer individualised care, balancing a patient’s tolerance of a drug with the resistance of their virus to that drug.

If you are interested in participating in our programme of key centre service testing to receive real-time IQ results with your TDM report, please contact us.
