THERAPEUTIC DRUG MONITORING

Therapeutic drug monitoring is used to optimise drug regimens for the individual patient by increasing efficacy and avoiding drug-related toxicity. There is a growing body of evidence suggesting the benefit of TDM for HCV patients and proposing target concentration levels to address both toxicity and efficacy.

TDM for hepatitis is currently available for:

HCV  Ribavirin

HBV  Tenofovir
